Title: Sales District Manager-Outside Sales – Edmonton, AB (Part-time)

Reports To: National Sales Manager

Education: Grade 12 or Equivalent or Experience

Job Description: This position includes responsibility for:

PURPOSE & SCOPE:
The District Manager, Sales (DM) is responsible for selling the business’s products. The DM is also responsible for conforming to the company quality system procedures as documented.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The DM is responsible for assisting in the development and implementing sales plans, documenting quote and sales contract reviews and reporting sales performance to the National Sales Manager.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
The District Manager, Sales reports directly to the National Sales Manager.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION

The DM is required to have training in the following areas:

• • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience and preferred experience in a dental or pharmaceutical environment;
• • Basic Knowledge and understanding of sales;
• • Product knowledge as demonstrated in application and use of products;
• • Assessment techniques of evaluating and reporting sales;
• • Comply with ISO 9001-2008 specifications;
• • Additional skills required for managing their respective district such as planning, organizing selling and communicating

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The DM is required to read and understand technical and non-technical documents as they relate to sales orders for the company’s products.

EXPERIENCE:
The DM shall have prior experience in executing product sales. In the case of the company, the experience requirement is at the discretion of the National Sales Manager. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
